You’re having trouble coming to terms with the fact that a simple registered nurse was right. Understandable. And I never used the term runaway inflation. That’s just a figment of your imagination. But I did say it would raise cost when Americans are already being pinched with inflation.

So now you’re bringing up the stock market in order to move the goalpost. Nobody ever mentioned the stock market. And the stock market also rose under Biden.

Unfortunately, I believe you are correct.  He had the courage and was successful in spreading conservatism on college campuses.  Without that, the conservative movement (MAGA) will dwindle significantly.

Much of the progress made on turning back the clock on the indoctrination of our youth will be lost without him.

I sat and watched an interview of two college kids who wanted to continue in Kirk's path; they've been threatened and I would dare say many others have been as well.

Odd that is probable the part that I don't like the most... You forgive those that "sincerely ask" for forgiveness. It is part of the process of getting them back into the fold as a friend with a relationship with Christ as centerpiece.

Are you saying "hey, just go free and don't shoot anyone else" ? Are you saying I don't want justice? Often folks will say, I don't want the death penalty, but just keep them in jail forever.... If you forgive someone and still want "forever in jail" are you actually forgiving them, or just wanting to deal your type of justice under the guise of "forgiving"? Are you just trying to look like the bigger man?

Even if this shooter sincerely asks forgiveness, society demands it. You can personally forgive him (after a heartfelt apology), but a just society would want just justice.

Sorry Mrs. Kirk, I wasn't a fan of this.... People can flame me below. I want justice... and in this case, it requires the death penalty.

Let's not confuse our forgiving someone who has hurt or offended us, and God's forgiveness. There are similarities, but one big difference: only God's forgiveness means those who repent and ask His forgiveness will not face the justice we all deserve.
