It could be a number of things.  We only have nice pictures of the parents, but families are complicated. 

One unnecessary complication is the practice of self-mutilation.  Transgenders are mentally ill and need to be treated with compassion, but they also need to be committed.  Probably 80% of them are homosexual, the rest just going through a phase.  We don't need any more public flameouts from them or people adjacent to them.

A huge part of homosexuality in America is all about 'rebellion' more than it is about an innate sexual drive.

I have met people who are genuinely homosexual down to their genes. There are some people who really are born as homosexuals. Others are classified as 'homosexual', but they really do not have a specific sexual preference. These people will have sex with anyone. That is, they just don't care. These are regular normal people who do nothing to advertise. You would never know how they feel about sex unless they want you to know or if they are exposed somehow.

A professional (sniper) would take into account not only the ballistics of the cartridge from that rifle, but would also compensate for the bullet hitting high to the normal curve on a downhill shot.

Where the shooter was aiming is relevant in determining whether the shooter was a professional vs amateur, and the point of impact likely indicates a point of aim more center of mass than the head as a target.
 With 40 ft. of drop, over 150 yards, the bullet would hit about a half inch higher than would normally be expected, due to aiming downhill.

If the bullet was a 150 grain bullet, factory load, the expected drop would be about 1 inch at `150 yards for a rifle sighted in at 100 yards. Point of impact would be 1/2 inch higher than that, so the difference between point of aim and point of impact would be about 1/2 inch low to the point of aim.

A professional would be unlikely to miss at that range, but the bullet is reported to have fragmented on the vest Charlie was wearing, and the fragments caused his fatal wound.

All this adds up to someone trying to take a heart (center of mass) shot.

All Hollywood aside, snipers generally only take head shots when no other target is available. The center of mass is likely to produce a fatal or seriously debilitating wound requiring prompt surgical intervention to prevent fatality. The head is a poor target because it moves about a lot (that saved Trump in Butler PA), and there is little room for error.

The NFL released a statement on Friday addressing a tribute to Charlie Kirk ahead of its most recent game, and said teams will be left to make their own decisions about whether to follow suit this Sunday.

Thursday night's game between the Green Bay Packers and Washington Commanders featured a moment of silence in honor of Kirk before kick-off.

"Last night’s moment was the league’s decision. It’s up to the clubs for this Sunday’s games," the league's statement read, per multiple reports.

The statement further addressed the context of the tribute, comparing it to other moments of silence following tragedies.

"There have been moments following school shootings or an attack on a house of worship such as the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh in 2018. There also have been moments following major international incidents such as Hamas attack on Israel in October 2023 and weather-related incidents such as major hurricanes and fires," the statement continued.

"This is in addition to honoring those in the NFL family from tributes to recently passed players or personnel, or a player such as Damar Hamlin in 2023. The NFL also honored before Super Bowl LIV NBA star Kobe Bryant and the other victims of the helicopter crash (Gianna Bryant, Sarah and Payton Chester, Christina Mauser, Ara Zobayan) and also Pro Football Hall of Famer Chris Doleman who passed that week."

The league made reference to sweeping changes to field and pre-game protocols following the death of George Floyd in 2020, and moments of silence following other tragedies in the past calendar year.

 Turning Point USA says it has seen an unprecedented surge of interest in its grassroots network following Erika Kirk’s first public remarks after the assassination of her husband, Charlie Kirk.

Minnesota State Representative Elliott Engen shared a screenshot on X reporting that the group has received 18,000 new chapter requests since Erika spoke Friday night.

According to the message, TPUSA previously had 9,000 college chapters and 1,100 high school chapters. “This is the Turning Point,” the message read.

Engen’s post quickly spread across the platform, drawing more than 1.2 million views by Saturday morning.

The surge comes as Turning Point USA has vowed to continue Charlie Kirk’s mission through expanded campus tours, upcoming conferences, and daily broadcasts of "The Charlie Kirk Show."
