The article doesn't say, but I doubt they were Sisters in the same Chapter at the same time, living in the same house. I'm a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity since 1977, and there are ten's of thousands of Brothers out there I've never met, like Danny Thomas, Ronald Reagan and @Wingnut, yet I refer to them as "Brothers" or "Fraters." In correspondence with them I sign off with a certain phrase to this day.
That said, these two women are prominent in the Sisterhood (as outlined in the article), and as such probably did meet at some point in time and even if they did not, it would hold an unfair sway on this Judge's opinion!
She should have recused right off the bat! As an Administrator of this Forum, I do not engage with Nancy or the Moderators in any discussions concerning Brother Wingnut, much to his consternation some times...same as if we were Blood Brothers.
