Tim Walz Slapped With New Subpoena

Failed vice presidential candidate Tim Walz, who also serves as the current governor of Minnesota, has been hit with another subpoena from the United States House Committee on Education and the Workforce. The committee is currently chaired by Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC), who is leading an investigation into the scandal surrounding Feeding Our Futures (FOF).

Investigators are saying that the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), which was behind the program during the thick of the coronavirus pandemic, allowed FOF to allegedly misappropriate a staggering $250 million that was supposed to go toward feeding hungry children.

Walz has thus far denied any wrongdoing. He claims the whole fiasco was caused by insufficient due diligence. The latest subpoena demands additional information concerning decisions made by the MDE, along with communications with federal agencies, and data collected from internal investigations.

The subpoena informed the Minnesota governor that he was currently under investigation, laying out the case being made against him. The letter went on to say, “The actions taken by you and other executive officers were insufficient to address the massive fraud.”

Gov. Walz put out a reaction to the allegations, once again denying any wrongdoing in a statement released in June 2024. The governor said, “This wasn’t malfeasance. [Employees] simply didn’t do as much due diligence as they should have.”

They literally slap the person and say, "Hey, I gotta subpoena for you! Here!"
Then they slap them again, just for good measure. When it comes to Walz, several slaps are required.
