In a jaw-dropping, treasonous admission that is a brazen national security violation, Homeland Security Committee Member Representative Delia Ramirez (D-IL) attended a conference in Mexico City over the weekend where she declared that her loyalty was to Guatemala over the United States and that her husband is an illegal immigrant. Unbelievably, she also sits on the Border Security and Enforcement Committee and is a part of the 35-member Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

Not only should Ramirez be stripped from those committees, but she should be denaturalized and deported right along with her DREAMer husband. If she pledges her fealty to Guatemala, she should go there despite being born to an illegal Guatemalan immigrant who snuck into the US. The very thought that a member of the Homeland Security Committee is loyal to a country other than the United States and has the gall to flagrantly break federal law while boasting about it should enrage and alarm every American out there.
