Veteran Mexican Cop Caught Driving Stolen Truck in Texas

 
A Mexican citizen who served as a police officer for more than a decade in his home country has been convicted of driving a stolen vehicle in Texas.

On January 29, 2024, the Kimble County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) received a system notification that a stolen pickup truck had entered their jurisdiction.

A day prior, a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado had been reported stolen from a San Antonio hotel by the owner, who was in town for his daughter’s volleyball tournament, according to a press release issued this week by the office of District Attorney Tonya Spaeth Ahlschwede.

KCSO deputies, working alongside state and local law enforcement, pulled the vehicle over and arrested the driver, 37-year-old Andres Ricardo Ontiveros Pulido.
