New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy is under investigation following a subpoena linked to his comments about sheltering an undocumented individual at his home. The inquiry, led by Acting New Jersey Attorney General Alina Habba, stemmed from a statement Murphy made in February. FBI agents have interviewed witnesses as part of the investigation, which is separate from the Department of Justice (DOJ)'s actions against New Jersey's sanctuary policies.
