Minnesota fraudsters stole $250M from ‘hungry kids’ to buy personal luxury items
July 19, 2025 | Sierra Marlee

There are few crimes more disgusting than defrauding a federally funded children’s nutrition program.

FBI Director Kash Patel is getting results for Americans, including bringing charges against those accused of defrauding $250 million from the “Feeding our Future” program in Minnesota during the pandemic. The money could have gone to making sure children were able to go to bed with full stomachs during an economically difficult time in the United States, but instead it was thrown away on things like “mansions and luxury cars,” according to a statement from Patel.

“Stealing over $250 million from hungry kids during a pandemic to fund mansions and luxury cars is as shameless as it gets,” read a statement from the FBI director. “I’m proud of the FBI and our partners for dismantling this web of corruption, holding dozens accountable, and sending a clear message: if you exploit the most vulnerable, we will find you and bring you to justice.”

“The FBI director told Fox News in a statement that 70 people in Minnesota have been indicted for their role” in the fraud, which included “fabricating invoices, submitting fake attendance records, and falsely distributing thousands of meals from hundreds of so-called food distribution ‘sites’ across the state,” according to a report from Fox News.

These appear the kind of people who have over the years been incarcerated by Republican prosecutors and later on given pardons by the likes of Clinton, Obama and Biden.

I wonder why?
