Teen Girl Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash Caused by Honduran Illegal on July 4 – Police
An illegal alien has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run collision that left a teenage girl dead in Florida, authorities say.
The horrifying incident unfolded at around 4:45 a.m. on July 4 in Hillsborough County.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies arrived and found the deceased teenage victim, identified as 19-year-old Brianna Kelson, but the driver of the other vehicle had fled the scene on foot.
“Preliminary investigative findings and witness statements indicate the female victim was driving on Providence Road when she was struck by another vehicle on Bloomingdale Avenue that ran a red light while traveling at a high rate of speed,” HCSO explained in a press release.
Kelson was on her way to work at Wendy’s when she was killed, according to a statement from her mother on GoFundMe.
