Dan Bongino To Resign On One Major Condition

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino is reportedly prepared to resign unless Attorney General Pam Bondi is removed from her post, according to sources who spoke to The Daily Wire. The internal turmoil, which has boiled over in recent days, stems from a growing dispute over the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files and the public messaging surrounding them.

The rift reportedly began after the Department of Justice and FBI jointly released a memo in early July concluding there was no credible evidence of a so-called Epstein “client list” and no foul play in his 2019 jailhouse death. That conclusion came as a surprise to many in the conservative base, especially given Bondi’s previous hints that explosive revelations were imminent.

Bondi had for months suggested the files would expose powerful individuals connected to Epstein’s inner circle. Instead, the July memo offered a far more measured conclusion.

It dismissed speculation around a “list” and noted that newly released surveillance footage from Epstein’s jail cell showed no sign of outside entry. However, that footage reportedly includes a one-minute gap, which DOJ officials characterized as a “routine nightly reset” of the system.

On October 19, 2021, Bongino said that he opposed corporate vaccine mandates, although he said he was vaccinated. He called on his employer, Cumulus Media, to end their vaccine mandate, which had been announced in September. Unvaccinated employees at Cumulus had already been fired on October 11 and replaced.

"You can have me or the mandate. But you can't have both of us", Bongino said on his show. After taking nearly two weeks off, he returned to announce he was negotiating his ultimatum with Cumulus, and starting a fund for former employees of Cumulus fired because of the vaccination mandate.

On December 11, 2022, Bongino announced plans to end his Cumulus radio show at the conclusion of his contract.  Cumulus began phasing his show out of its stations' lineups in June 2023.  However, in December 2023, he reversed course, securing a multi-year contract extension with Westwood One.

On April 20, 2023, Bongino announced his departure from Fox News, citing failed contract negotiations.

It was Trump who campaigned on releasing the Epstein files... A 180 on short order...

A bit like the Democrats who were screaming no one is above the law not long ago until everyone became above the law when attacking federal ICE officers enforcing the law on illegal immigration...

You can change your mind - but at least do it honestly with an adult rational explanation.

This ⬆️ is a pretty big stretch.  I attended and watched rallies for four years and was privy to many, many focus groups on Trump's campaign messages during the same period.  Epstein was not on the radar ... at all.

The attention this is getting is a new development thanks to Bondi, Patel, and Patel's sidekick, Danny the Thin-Skinned.   I hope Trump is being advised to breakup this clown show.  I'd recommend starting with kicking out Bongino and telling the other two what he expects of them and their working relationship.

It's not a dead horse to those of us who want a full accounting of exactly who was involved in Epstein's pedophilia ring, or all those kids who were victims of it.
