Carlson interviews president of Iran
« on: July 07, 2025, 08:14:58 am »
He's admitted he didn't ask any hard questions because he knew he wouldn't get a straight answer.  :pondering:

Apparently, the Iranian President assured Tucker Carlson that Iran doesn’t want to assassinate Trump.

Something snapped with Carlson after he got fired from Fox.

In a short period he has gone from one of the leading voices of conservative punditry, to the mouthpiece of Putin and the Mullahs.  I have no idea who is TC's core demographic now, but he sure has lost footing in credibility and dissension.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian suggests it's unheard of for an Iranian to kill an American.

Iran has killed nearly 900 people since the 1970s. What is he talking about? I’m sure Tucker immediately challenged him with the facts and set him straight, right?

Baghdad Bob is alive and well, living as President of Iran.  Carlson has said he stayed away from tough questions because he knew he would be lied to.  If that seems odd it's because that's the opposite of what a reporter is supposed to do.

So why do this?

I see Carlson moving into the Glenn Greenwald circle of independent journalists, and if truly independent, the core demographic becomes the intellectually curious of both sides.

While Greenwald retains his left of center core, he has become free to explore some of its deeply held convictions and has begun to question the propaganda in damn near everything --- and on both sides.  His podcasts are quite interesting and chock full of receipts.  I think this is where Carlson may be heading.

Of what good is a reporter who is afraid to ask certain questions because he's afraid he will be lied to?  Ask them anyway then pick apart the untruth.

Tucker is out from under the Murdochs and can do as he pleases.

Or not, it appears.

That's certainly one valid way of looking at this.   However, I think the Greenwald circle of independent reporters and journalists actively seek to level the propaganda playing field through their interviews.   They seem to hold special contempt for the scope and acceptance of the unbridled propaganda in our politics and foreign policy.

I'm not saying Carlson is there, yet.  But, he appears to be open to the possibility.

If you know he's going to lie, why give taqiyya a platform.

The American government only says what it wants you to think, or whatever Mossad is feeding them.  Mossad's former motto: "By way of deception, thou shalt do war."  Who you going to believe, Masoud or Mossad?  Might as well listen to both sides.
