With Zohran Mamdani On The Cusp of Becoming Mayor, NYC Embraces Its Own Demise
By Vince Coyner

As a child of the Cold War with the Soviets as America’s enemy, when the wall came down and the threat of Communism faded, I was under the illusion that the world had inexorably turned a corner and that history was on the march to bring freedom, capitalism, and prosperity to the whole world...

The events of September 11 exposed that illusion for what it really was: a delusion. There were actually people out there who wanted to start a war with the United States.

With 9/11 and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, Islam went from an almost nonexistent issue for most Americans to front and center. Suddenly, Islam and Muslims are in the news on a daily basis, doing unspeakable things to one another and others.

By means of shrewd lies, unremittingly repeated, it is possible to make people believe that heaven is hell - and hell heaven. The greater the lie, the more readily it will be believed.

  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
What I don't understand is the policies of these moonbat big city mayors and governors only lead to bankruptcy, depopulation, and the ultimate erosion of their base and hold on power.

And they don't seem to care.
The Republic is lost.

Like all good leftist, the previous leftist didn't go far enough and that's why their leftism failed... That doubling down on failure will produce a higher living standard for the masses if only given another chance... Eventually that envy of other's wealth burns all the wealth down - except, of course, for the leftist in power.

Zohran Mamdani visited controversial Brooklyn mosque on campaign trail. Because, of course he did.

Socialist New York City mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani visited a controversial Brooklyn mosque to pray while on the campaign trail — just months after the imam had called for the destruction of Israel.

Mamdani posted a picture of himself speaking at the Islamic Society of Bay Ridge, alongside firebrand cleric Sheikh Muhammad Al-Barr, on his social media in January. ...

This should go over really well in NYC: Zohran Mamdani: I'd prefer if we abolished private property.

American Imam Tom Facchine: A Mamdani NYC Mayoral Win Would Be Strategic For The Muslim Community; Past Mayoral Candidates Were All Evil, In The Pocket Of AIPAC; Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, Matt Walsh Highlight How The Israel Lobby Is 'Hijacking' U.S. Academic, Legal, Political Institutions – This Is An 'Existential Threat'; Three Years Ago, We Could Not Imagine Serious Public Debate On Whether Israel Should Exist

In a July 1, 2025 episode of The Thinking Muslim podcast, American Islamic scholar Tom Facchine, imam of the Utica Masjid in New York State, discussed Zohran Mamdani's victory in the Democratic New York City mayoral primary. He said that in past mayoral races, all candidates were "evil" and "in the pocket of AIPAC," whereas Mamdani has shown he is willing to sacrifice for Palestine. Facchine added that having Mamdani in office would remove "certain threats" that are very important and strategic to the Muslim community.

Facchine also praised American right-wing podcasters such as Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, and Matt Walsh for addressing what he called the "structural" and "existential threat" of the Israel lobby's influence over U.S. politics, including its "hijacking" of American academic, legal, and political institutions. He remarked that Muslims could not have imagined even three or five years ago the current level of open critique of Israel, even debating whether or not it "should have happened or not."

Tom Facchine: "Mamdani, to his credit, and you know, we're not praising anyone beyond their station. There's a ton of things that we're going to disagree about. But to his credit, has been pretty good on Palestine. He is indicated sacrifice. He has indicated principle.
