If these people had been vetted, and gone through a legal porocess, that would be one thing. They were not.
When I first broke out in the oil patch, I worked with a guy who immigrated to the US legally, from Iran. He got out when the Shah was deposed. Not a Muslim, but a Methodist, and Armenian by heritage. Great guy, and the likes of which I would gladly welcome to the US. Last I heard, he had married and raised a family (it's been a while).
Unfortunately, the people smuggled in by the previous administration are unlikely to be of the same belief set as the man I worked with. Little the Biden administration, or the proxies within it pretending to be POTUS for a day, has been good, so the default assumption is that this, too, is bad news.
