Trump struck Iran without any authorization of Congress.
We need to immediately return to DC and vote on @RepThomasMassie
and my War Powers Resolution to prevent America from being dragged into another endless Middle East war.

You’re conflating a limited military strike with a war. The Constitution gives Congress the power to declare war (Art. I, Sec. 8), but not exclusive authority over all military actions.
As Commander in Chief (Art. II, Sec. 2), the President has long-standing authority affirmed by SCOTUS and precedent to direct strikes without prior Congressional approval, especially when acting in defense or deterrence.
The War Powers Resolution of 1973 allows 60–90 days before Congressional authorization is needed. This isn’t a violation, it’s fully within executive powers.
Stop the theatrics. Know the law.
