Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY) has pushed for a restructuring of the Democratic Party following losses among working-class voters. He claimed the party has particularly shifted too far left on immigration. Torres noted a divide between those advocating for a moderate approach and those strongly opposing the agenda of President Donald Trump.
