I wonder what happens if some of those Iranian missiles hit neighboring states?
They are already being flown over airspace of other countries without permission, I bet.

That is considered an act of war.

Israeli official vows ‘we have more surprises coming up’ for Iran following wave of airstrikes

A senior Israeli intelligence official exclusively told Fox News on Saturday that “We have more surprises coming up” for Iran following the initial wave of strikes during “Operation Rising Lion.”

The high-ranking source, speaking to Fox News Chief Foreign Correspondent Trey Yingst, said Israeli intelligence projected Iran would have an arsenal of 8,000 ballistic missiles over the next two years and that this was part of the reason a decision was made to launch the operation. Right now, Israel believes Iran has about 2,000 missiles.

“We cannot end this operation knowing that we will be in the same spot two years from now,” the official said. “Everything is going as planned. Actually, better than planned.”

The official added: “We have lots of surprises. Not just the ones we already did. We have more surprises coming up.”

Forty Iranian air defense systems were hit since the beginning of the operation, which is based on three goals -- targeting Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs and removing the Iranian existential threat against Israel.

During the initial strike against a meeting of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) air force officials, Israeli intelligence assesses that 30 commanders were killed.

“It’s a historic achievement,” the official said.

Israel now expects more incoming Iranian missiles in the days ahead that will cause casualties and destruction.

The bulk of the conflict with Iran could largely be over in a matter of days.

“I think we can finish it in days… It’s a good thing that we have the U.S. by our side,” the official said.

The official also told Fox News that the U.S. is “fully coordinated” with Israel, yet declined to go into specifics.

“The way the U.S. is standing beside Israel is unprecedented,” he said. “We feel it.”

Fox News' Trey Yingst contributed to this report.

Iranian media allegedly reporting more strikes

The Associated Press is reporting that Iran's state TV showed a fire following an Israeli strike on a former car manufacturing plant. Additionally, the Associated Press said that state-run IRNA news agency reported an Israeli strike in the southwestern province of Khuzestan.

Earlier on Saturday, Israel announced that it was carrying out more strikes on Iran following overnight missile barrages from Tehran.

‘Significant damage’ after IDF headquarters hit by Iranian missile attack as Islamic Republic launches barrage of missiles at Tel Aviv
 By Anna Young
Published June 13, 2025
Updated June 14, 2025, 4:31 a.m. ET

Israel’s military headquarters were struck after Iran’s Islamic Republic unleashed a barrage of missiles on central Tel Aviv late Friday night, causing “significant damage” to the Jewish state’s equivalent of the Pentagon.

Alarming footage shared on social media — and verified by The New York Times — showed a strike slamming into an area that houses several military sites, including the Israel Defense Forces’ main command center.

The dramatic clips captured interceptor missiles firing into the sky moments before a blinding flash, a thunderous boom, and the explosion of an incoming warhead.

The biggest difference between the two in this war is that Iran is throwing every single thing they possibly can at Israel.
While Israel has to constantly 'hold back' from what they are actually able to do.

If Iran crosses a line, Israel could easily destroy all their oil facilities and cripple their entire country.
Believe it or not, as weird as it sounds, so far Israel is trying to be nice. That will not last long.

All of Iran will be fundamentally changed by this war. The old Iran is dead. The new Iran is born.

4.) Iran Jimmy Carter is the root cause of most of the instability in the Middle East - Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis, Islamic Jihad, etc

Jimmy paved the way for the Mullahs' grasp on power --- George W. cemented that grasp when he took out the Hussein family.

Pro tip:  We need to leave the Middle East and allow the sand creatures to fight their multi-millennial blood feuds to their hearts' content.

I wonder how many countries have offered to allow the mullahs to flee to safety? I'm sure several have by now.
Once the Khamenei and his mullahs flee the country, that will be the end of Iran as it has been since Jimmy Carter.

That’s because, like the rest of the world, they realize this was a US attack laundered through the IDF.  So the big question is … why did Trump decide to break one of his most important campaign promises?  He ridiculed George Bush, who listed to Netanyahu and invaded Iraq to seize nonexistent WMDs.  That decision ruined GWB presidency.  We all watched it happen.  Now Trump is going down the same path.

It’s nothing short of amazing how a small country in the Middle East can dominate the world’s lone superpower.

The most important Trump campaign promise was to keep this country safe.  That's a very tall order considering how many ILLEGALS Joe let into this country.

With that being stated, Iran was close to have full nuclear capabilities and Israel reacted.  Trump had navy ships headed into the area before Israel struck.  Certainly Trump and Bibi had two choices; let Iran continue on to develop full nuclear capabilities or stand by and wait.  I don't think standing by was an option.

No, I don't want any bloodshed, however, Iran I believe had other plans.  Russia and China are helping their cause.

So @cato potatoe should the U.S. have done nothing?  From my understanding Trump is still in negotiations with Iran, though any treaty made I believe will be broken by Iran.

The oil and gas producing, pipeline, refinery and export facilities are all fixed.  They can all be destroyed by air and missile strikes.

Iran will be decimated as its main source of income will be gone.

There is simply nothing Iran can do about it.

And all other countries depending primarily on oil have similar exposure

Iran has just fired hundreds of ballistic missiles towards the State of Israel, we are covering the ongoing situation live as it develops. Iranian government officials are now fleeing Iran en-masse as Israeli airstrikes kill more top government officials, and continue to destroy the very military and economic machines that have kept the Islamic regime in power for decades. Israeli air forces have claimed air superiority over the Iranian capital of Tehran, with Israeli drones now circling the city, finding and marking Iranian air defenses for destruction. Israeli airstrikes are currently hitting Bandar Abbas in an attempt to destroy the Iranian Navy outright. Key nuclear facilities have been destroyed, and Government officials attempting to keep on the move have also been targeted and destroyed while on the road. Satellite imagery is now coming out showing the complete destruction of many air defense and air force bases throughout Iran.

Iranian missile strikes in Israel kill at least 3 as defense minister warns 'Tehran will burn'

At least two people have been killed in Israel following multiple rounds of Iranian airstrikes in retaliation for missiles launched during "Operation Rising Lion." Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said Saturday that "If Khamenei continues to fire missiles at Israel’s home front – Tehran will burn."

I'm still not convinced Trump green-lighted the Israeli attack on Iran @cato potatoe   I know what he's saying now, but this is part US face-saving and part negotiations-saving,  IMHO.

Netanyahu couldn't stop the Obama approved Iran agreement, even though he stood in the well of the US House of Representatives and gave a speech to the whole of the US Congress begging them not to support the sitting President of the United States and to turn their backs on "this very bad deal".

Think about that.  A foreign PM addressed the whole of the US national government on their home turf -- broadcast live -- and called for a political mutiny against the elected President of the United States.  (To be fair, Republicans did cheer.)

Netanyahu is a rogue thug, always has been.  No ally, no border, no international law, no global institution can slow Netanyahu from killing and destroying his next target as he claims victim. This time the thug wasn't going to risk another agreement, especially one negotiated by his personal ATM.

The good news:  This is the perfect time for the US to shout to the world that Israel's got this --- and exit the Middle East.

We can re-establish ties with ME countries on the field of international commerce, as our interests dictate.

This wasn't about an election, Israel interferes in our elections privately with their contribuions.  And, in case you don't know, foreign money in our elections is not permitted.

This was Netanyahu standing in the well of the House begging US lawmakers to change their vote and defeat the President's agreement.  This psycho thug should never have been invited back -- he should have been shunned.

Name one other country that would have permitted what Netanyahu did.  Hell, does Israel allow foreign speakers to address the Knesset without scrutiny and approval of content? ( Hint:  No.)

I've considered that possibility for years ---- but this point in history is Netanyahu's chickens coming home to roost.   Netanyahu should retire and give Israel a chance to repair her reputation and global support.    Serving as PM for 29 years is long enough. He needs to go.

[Trump is doing this every day since the election. Obama/Biden ruined American international relations with the world.]
America is only passively assisting Israel. America is not actively involved in the war. If America left as has been proposed, Israel (with help from anti-Iran neighbors, Saudi, Jordan, Egypt, and others) would still annihilate Iran.

How I read this is, ... if
Barack (bless or blessed in Arabic)
Hussein (exalted hero of the Koran relative of Muhammed)
Obama (tribal family name from Kenya)
who is a Shia Muslim as is all of Iran was still POTUS, and Rashida Talib was running Israel the world would be perfect.

It is Trump and Netanyahu who are screwing everything up!

Maybe you should call Bibi @240B  .... and make sure he understands this ⬆️. Might want to tell him we're not too crazy about the "passively", either.

I have never met Netanyahu personally as a one on one, but I have been within 10 feet of him in a group setting. However, I am sure he would not remember me. Your suggestion is not so far away from an actual possibility as you may think. But I wouldn't do it even if I could.

To declare that Iran's mullahs are good people and it is Trump and Netanyahu who are the problem is not in my nature.
The next time you are at a staff meeting with Ilhan Omar and her brother/husband, you should bring up your ideas.
She should be able to get her Somali government to pass them on to Israel through the diplomatic channels of her country.

Protestors not allowed inside Israeli bomb shelter.

The Times of Israel by Sam Sokol 6/14/2025

Finance Ministry security guard tells demonstrators they can’t come into building to shelter when sirens go off

Security guards at the Finance Ministry tell demonstrators staying at a protest tent outside the building that they are not allowed to enter to take shelter when sirens go off due to incoming missile fire from Iran.

In a video exchange posted on X by Channel 13’s Raviv Drucker, one of the protesters can be heard arguing with a security guard through an intercom, telling him that under the law members of the public must be allowed in when an air raid alert goes off — and claiming that he and his compatriots had received prior permission to do so.

“There’s going to be missiles soon, we’re on the street,” the protester says.

The guard replies that only ministry employees may enter, prompting the man to counter that the guard was “endangering my life.”

I've considered that possibility for years ---- but this point in history is Netanyahu's chickens coming home to roost.   Netanyahu should retire and give Israel a chance to repair her reputation and global support.    Serving as PM for 29 years is long enough. He needs to go.

Sure...but not until the enemies surrender.

So @cato potatoe should the U.S. have done nothing?  From my understanding Trump is still in negotiations with Iran, though any treaty made I believe will be broken by Iran.

He should have insisted on more time to work out an acceptable deal to inspect the nuclear sites.  Iran has been “on the verge” of having nukes for decades but has chosen not to develop them.  That should tell you they are more rational than we are led to believe.  Now it seems more likely than ever the Iranians will seek nuclear weapons as they see it’s the only way to protect themselves from Gaddafi’s fate.  Certainly the Americans cannot be trusted — Trump said an attack was not imminent a few hours before it happened.

Netanyahu’s goal is to destabilize Iran and force a regime change, preferably with most of the casualties of war suffered by young men & women from the United States.  We have tens of thousands in the region.  Our government told their families to leave earlier this week, because they will be targeted.  I fully expect the war cries to begin as soon as the missiles land.

His speech was reviewed prior to giving it.  (Try reading even the long sentences before responding)

Oh, and you know this how?  You're claiming that the Israelis actually had veto power over President Bush's speech?  LOL!
