I knew TBR would have the "scoop" that  isn't being reported.  It is becoming apparent that we are at war within our country; it's now front and center for all to see.  Perhaps Mexico wants a war as well???

Things are a mess and I am besides myself here and can't believe that Newsom is blaming Trump as is our EX-VP!

If Mexico ever had even the most vague shadow of the slightest idea of taking on America, they should have done it two or three years ago. Biden, Kamala, and the rest of those traitorous pigs would have simply given California and most of the Southwest to them without an argument or a fight.

One of the groups leading anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles is a taxpayer-funded activist organization with ties to the Democratic Party, while another has links to the Chinese Communist Party.

The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) — which received tens of millions of dollars in government grants during the Biden administration — staged a rally last week to denounce Immigration and Customs Enforcement arresting illegal migrants across the city, including those convicted of heinous crimes.
 
Protests against ICE escalated since then, with more than 1,000 rioters taking to the streets, assaulting immigration officers, slashing tires and defacing public buildings, the Department of Homeland Security said, prompting President Trump to call in around 2,000 National Guard troops Sunday to quell the violence.

According to financial records obtained by DataRepublican, CHIRLA received nearly $34 million in government grants, mostly from the state of California, in the fiscal year ending June 2023, a jump from the $12 million it received the previous year.

Update: US Marines in California today arrested California National Guard Command Chief Master Sergean​​​​​​​t Lynn E. Williams after Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command intercepted a telephone call he'd  had with LA Mayor Karen Bass Saturday morning. On that call, Williams told Bass he'd do whatever he could to convince his supperiors to resist President Trump's anti-immigrant operatgion.

I haven't seen this reported anywhere else.  Is there a better source?  It's also odd that the USMC would be arresting a California Guard NCO.  That would be a job for the Army Criminal Investigation Division, and he would have to be relieved of duty first by his command chain.  So it doesn't really pass the smell test.

Newsom taunts Tom Homan ‘come and get me’ over anti-ICE riot response

California Governor Gavin Newsom is firing back at President Trump's border czar Tom Homan and vows he “won't stop standing up for California.”

“Trump’s border czar is threatening to arrest me for speaking out. Come and get me, tough guy. I don't give a damn,” Newsom vowed in a post on X.

“It won’t stop me from standing up for California.”

Newsom added that Trump had overstepped his boundaries when he deployed the National Guard to help with the anti-ICE riots, claiming “local law enforcement didn't need help.”

“Let’s get this straight: 1) Local law enforcement didn’t need help. 2) Trump sent troops anyway — to manufacture chaos and violence. 3) Trump succeeded. 4) Now things are destabilized, and we need to send in more law enforcement just to clean up Trump’s mess,” Newsom wrote in a separate post on X.

Newsom arrived in Los Angeles on Sunday evening to oversee the response to the anti-ICE riots, meeting with state emergency officials.

“We’re here to keep the peace — not play into Trump’s political games,” Newsom wrote.

Anti-ICE protesters in Los Angeles spit on and burn American flag


Protesters in Los Angeles were filmed burning and spitting on American flags as they chanted anti-Trump slogans over the weekend.

Footage from the incident shows a circle of dozens of people, many wearing masks, surrounding an American flag burning on the ground. Several of the individuals then spit on the flag or sprayed flammable liquid to continue the blaze before a second flag was added to the fire.

A number of the protesters held high the flags of South American countries like Mexico as the U.S. flag burned on the ground. They also chanted "F-Trump."

The footage from this weekend's riots also shows officers with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department moving in to disperse the crowds, shooting flash bangs as they went.
