Without swift and dire consequences for this sort of behaviour, whether it was directed at Insurance company executives or against Jewish couples, (essentially, whoever the Left is pumping up the Hate for), there will be an accelerating decay of law and order, and random (or not so random) assassinations like this, perpetrated against people the perpetrator has no first hand knowledge of.

I propose bringing back public hangings, firing squads, or the like (considering drawing and quartering is out).

Exactly what I proposed during my insomnia bout last night.

Death penalty convictions as they are...it takes 20 years or more to execute people.  More often than not, as with the Hernandez brothers, they get paroled.  Furthermore, waiting that long to carry out a sentence is the very definition of "cruel and unusual punishment".

Dispatch them quickly and let's call it a day!

The suspected terrorist charged with gunning down two Israeli embassy workers in Washington Wednesday is associated with radical socialist groups funded by the far-left Chinese sympathizer, millionaire Neville Singham and his activist wife Jodie Evans.

Elias Rodriguez, 31, who allegedly confessed to killing the couple outside the Capital Jewish Museum and chanted “free, free Palestine!” was part of that network through his association with the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), a Communist political organization that has fielded presidential candidates since 2008.
 
In 2018, Rodriguez also raised $240 in a GoFundMe campaign to join the March to Fight Poverty in Washington DC and took part in demonstrations and protests around Chicago as a member of the ANSWER coalition around 2017 and 2018, another radical socialist group, according to the Anti-Defamation League.

The father of the man accused of gunning down two Israeli Embassy staffers on a street in Washington, D.C. Wednesday night attended President Donald Trump’s joint address to Congress in March as a far-left Democratic lawmaker’s special guest.


Democratic Illinois Rep. Jesús “Chuy” García, a member of the left-wing Congressional Progressive Caucus, invited Eric Rodriguez, a former Iraq War Army veteran and Department of Veterans’ Affairs (VA) hospital employee, to attend president’s speech to Congress on March 3. The VA worker’s son, Elias Rodriguez, fatally shot two Israeli embassy staffers outside of an event promoting Jewish heritage just miles from the U.S. Capitol, less than three months later.

“Eric Rodriguez was our guest during the President’s Joint Speech to Congress, but we don’t know his family,” a spokesperson for García told the New York Post, who first reported the connection to García, Thursday evening.

García said in a March 3 statement that he invited Rodriguez to attend the president’s address in an act of protest against the Department of Government Efficiency’s reforms to the VA. The Illinois Democrat also heralded the terrorist’s father as “the very best of our community” and an “outspoken advocate against attacks on veterans’ services and the rights of unionized federal employees.”

I think it was 'daddy issues'. For whatever reason the guy had a pathological urge to screw over his father.
It may be likely that the guy Elias, has a diminished capacity to comprehend or understand consequences.
That is just another way of saying he is not rational. This is a common trait found in many/most criminals.
They perceive reality only in the moment, to get what they want now, with no thought about the future.

I would bet that the guy could not find 'Palestine' on a map, and he has no idea about the history of, or current situation in Israel.
That's a good idea for the investigators. Show him a world map and ask him to point to and to define the 'Palestine' he trashed his life for.

Just how did he get past airport security with a functioning 9mm gun? Was this another 3D printed gun, one with a higher capacity magazine? My 9mm holds like 16 (or is it 17?) rounds... I guess they make extended mags for mine now I think about it. But this fellow emptied 21 +/- rounds... Perhaps it was a 3D printed that is made to accept mags from other guns ???
