WASHINGTON, D.C. — Prior to taking his current job as the Marine Corps’ deputy commandant of installations and logistics, Lt. Gen. Stephen Sklenka spent five years at Indo-Pacific Command as its deputy commander and chief strategist.

As such, he had a duty to figure out exactly what China intended to do if war should break out in the region.

Sklenka spent the first half of his April 30 speech at the Modern Day Marine conference spelling out just how the Peoples Republic of China is building up for a potential conflict and what it might do if it went toe-to-toe with the United States.

It wasn’t a rosy picture.

As for how it relates to his current job overseeing installations and logistics, China’s “intent is to use air and sea attacks on our logistics networks to delay and deny our ability to sustain our forces,” he said.

From where are the 3D printers and their parts sourced?

From where are the re-usables (printable plastic, metal, concrete) and their ingredients sourced?

It would be a shame if any component had a dependency, a co-dependnecy, or a sub-dependency on items sourced from the Chinese Communist Party.

Seems like injection molding could be quicker, cheaper, less complicated for a lot of stuff. If someone/thing corrupts the printer files (intentionally or accidentally), it will turn into a goat breeding operation real fast,
