Several years ago, Mr. M and I were in France on a May 8, riding a train from Paris to Reims. We saw VE Day ceremonies in some of the little villages we passed along the way. Very moving.

Hamas supporters were protesting the past oppression of Hamas' anti-semetic predecessors, the Nazi's.
