EXCLUSIVE: Trump has achieved more in 100 days than 'most presidents' in their lifetimes, Johnson says
Fox News, Apr 28, 2025

EXCLUSIVE: Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., said President Donald Trump has accomplished more in the first 100 days of his tenure than "most politicians or presidents accomplish in their entire lifetimes."

The top House Republican said this first period of a new GOP trifecta in government has been a "flurry of activity" used to set the stage for the party's plans to pass a massive piece of legislation setting up Trump's priorities on defense, taxes, energy and the border.

"So much of what we've done is leading up to the big reconciliation bill, and that is the legislative vehicle, as I've explained to people, it will help us, through which we will deliver the president's America First agenda," Johnson told Fox News Digital.

"We've done it with arguably the smallest margin in the history of the Congress, so challenges every day, but it's been very rewarding to lead us through that."

[...]

But the speaker also acknowledged that Trump has acted quite a bit on his own, as well.

"He's issued, I think, 110 executive orders and many other executive actions. And we've been working to codify so much of that. It's been kind of a partnership," Johnson said.

He also pointed out that a significant number of Trump's orders have targeted Biden administration actions or policies that were similarly enacted without Congress.

Dear Biden Sycophant,

The Executive Branch is separate from the Legislative Branch. Try reading the Constitution and thinking for yourself instead of just regurgitating what your handlers have been preaching to you for decades.

As for our allies, 100 of them have lined up to negotiate favorable agreements for tariffs and business.

You didn't mind at all when Biden was Ukraine's bitch and the "Big Guy" and his coke-addled son took tens of millions of dollars in graft and bribes, repaying Ukraine with hundreds of billions of dollars in military and other aid.

Finally, what YOU define as "chaos" is in fact brilliantly reversing the millions of illegals your god Biden welcomed to America, to steal, rape and murder; reversing the out of control spending and waste.  It must be very frightening to you after reading all the mainstream media crap, straight from socialist Democrat Party leaders.

You Leftists screamed and whined about Ronald Reagan as well, and he dismantled the Soviet Union!

You should’ve stuck to the point of the thread article.  Which was “how much The Don got done”....it’s via EO, which is fiat tyranny.

Executive branch being separate from legislative has nothing to do with being able to create rules and the actions out of thin air...the wave of a wand.  Congress is supposed to create those LAWS, the executive is to ensure those laws are followed.  Not create his own rules for the whole country.

Trump has many correct ideas, but his “execution” of them - creating them -is wrong and against the Constitution.  If Congress can actually “codify” those EOs then that would be great.  But constant rule-making by fiat is poor.  It should not be abused, which it has for I don’t know how long.  Don’t add to it.

"Flat tyranny" as you call it, has long been practiced by all presidents.

IF it were unconstitutional, Congress should have and would have brought impeachment charges against all the presidents, but they did not.  You're wrong and biased.  Be a man and admit it.  I doubt that you will.

Trump has the authority to use executive orders.

Yes, it would be nice of Congress got off of their azzes and started enacting some laws for Trump to sign.

Welp, with the filibuster in place, they would have to be bipartisan.

That's why it's time for the Pubbies to man up, and toss the 60-vote filibuster onto the ash heap of history...

Same ol sh*t, different day... Another administration hemmed into EOs...
Which will all go *POOF* (no eyebrows) in about 3 years... And then y'all will be singing the blues as the Democrats get to shake their asses at you instead, and their hero gets to govern as a tyrant with HIS EOs, which will all be gone in three years... And so it goes...

And in the meantime the debt limit goes up another 5 trillion bucks.

Suckers.

And we are right back to a Congress, jealous of its powers. That is what will fix it. That is all that will fix it.

If you ever sever, let's say, your brachial artery while building a barn or wrestling a bear, we promise not to allow the paramedics to place a bandage on the wound to stop your bleeding.  Such an action would be unnecessary because additional medical care would still be needed later at the hospital.

So, rest assured that upholding your sacrosanct principles, no matter the circumstance, is a guarantee and a privilege.  Count on it.  :patriot:

See, there ya go... Admitting this is all stop-gap and worth nothing else. Doing nothing more than playing catch-up across going on fifty years.
No different than what came before.

Yet the price keeps going up and up and up.
And y'all keep buying into it, and cheering like there is no tomorrow.
But tomorrow will come.

maybe then you'll learn, with a dollar worth so much less, and when a Benjamin won't buy a loaf of bread. It's coming. It surely is.
And none rise to stop it.
Party on.

And as to your analogy - It doesn't mean much... Had I ever severed an artery, I would have just been dead, living far beyond where any succor would be found.

Out where risk means something, and life is raw and real. I have always preferred it  that way.
