Washington State Democrat Forced to Flee Town Hall Over SAVE Act Vote

It's not just Democrat politicians who are going completely daffy. Democrat voters are, as well - and they are directing their ire at some of their own. Case in point: Representative Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA) was forced to flee a town hall on Thursday when attendees started to blast her for voting for the SAVE Act.
 

On Thursday, U.S. Representative Marie Gluesenkamp Perez walked into a town hall attended by hundreds of her constituents in Vancouver and was met with resounding boos.
Voters were upset she’d voted for the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act and other pieces of legislation.

The second-term congresswoman struggled to speak over the disturbances during the hour-long event, according to KOIN 6.

Attendees told the outlet they wanted their representative to know they were outraged, even though Gluesenkamp Perez had told them the bill wouldn’t pass in the Senate.

Outraged! Outraged, I say! Bear in mind that these people are outraged over their representative's vote for election integrity. This was an act that, among other things, required anyone registering to vote to have proof of citizenship. That's not an onerous request; especially since one has to have an ID to carry out any of the normal tasks of a citizen (opening a bank account, cashing a check, buying booze, etc.) and the RealID requirements are now in place.
