Biden Admin Hid Report Linking American COVID Cases to China’s Military Games in October 2019

The continuing stream of newly released information now coming out about the pandemic confirm initial assessments about the laboratory origin of covid, most likely from research being done at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.


Long-term Legal Insurrection readers may recall my “COVID timeline,” which was a summary of what was known about the origins of the pandemic published by the Republican members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee in the summer of 2021.

It contained several intriguing links to Wuhan, China. One particular item stood out: The city hosted the World Military Games that fall, and several healthy, young participants came down with illness.

    October 2019: World Military Games Held in Wuhan

    The 7th International Military Sports Council Military World Games (MWGs) opened in Wuhan on October 18, 2019. The MWGs in Wuhan drew 9,308 athletes, representing 109 countries, to compete in 329 events across 27 sports. Many of the participating athletes fell ill with various flu-like complaints. Here is a glimpse of the sick athletes and their location in the hospitals…now seeing ill patients.



Now, a military report obtained by the Washington Free Beacon that the Biden administration apparently concealed from the public underscores the truth of the committee’s 2021 assessment.

    The December 2022 report, which the Biden administration was required by law to release to the public over two years ago but didn’t, reveals for the first time that seven U.S. military service members contracted COVID-19-like symptoms during or after their participation in the World Military Games in Wuhan in October 2019—contradicting the Biden administration’s public claims in 2021 that there was no evidence that any American participants contracted the virus at those games.

    The revelation adds to a mounting body of evidence that the virus was circulating in Wuhan for months before China disclosed it to the world in December 2019 and further bolsters the growing consensus that it could have leaked into the human population from a Chinese lab.

Interestingly, when the Foreign Affairs Committee report was released, Chinese officials asserted that the US military brought the bug with them.

On August 11, Chinese state-run CCTV ran a report suggesting that American athletes participating in the 2019 Military World Games in Wuhan, China may have introduced COVID-19 to the country.

I remember that.  Turns out it was likely the other way around...those U.S. military athletes caught the Wu Flu at that time and brought it back to the U.S. when they returned home.  No doubt that it was already rapidly spreading throughout the U.S. after Thanksgiving 2019 but was being misdiagnosed as Flu Strain B, as happened to my wife after she caught it in January 2020 following a business trip to Philadelphia.
