Update....

Looks like the Hedgers must have woken up, and turned on their computers.  Pre-market DOW down now about 1,6%. That's an implied additional near 1000 point drop.  Another point that I had almost forgotten....  During the pandemic mini-crash, the DOW had dropped as low as 18K.  Is that the floor?  Possibly, but I don't want it to go that low.

Admittedly, I don't follow him all that closely, but have gotten the impression that whatever Cramer says is the opposite of reality.

Peaks and valleys....  Seems there always some underlying sentiment driving the market, that don't boil down to nuts and bolts business fundamentals.  This is important when trying to parse the market looking for like entry and exit points.  This is kind of simple way to do it but....  Chronologically working backward with the DOW as an example

Apr 2025- Tariff crisis- 37K
Dec 2024- Post Biden Euphoria- 45K
Aug 2022- Height of Biden inflation malaise.- 29K
Jan 2022- Biden fake money infused -inflation reduction act- 36K
Mar 2020- Pandemic mini crash- 18K
Dec 2019- Peak of Trump Mini-Bull Run- 28K
Feb 2015- Peak of Obama 2nd term market stagnation- 18K
Jun 2013- End of post '08 crash recovery- 15K (infusion of QE I, II, and III)
Mar 2009- Trough of the '08-'09 crash- 7K
Jun 2007- Peak of Mid 2000's mini- bull run- 13K
200-2002- Outside DOW NASDAQ and techs suffer a close to 75% correction, including overall drag on DOW during same period.
May 1999- Start of about 5 year period of market stagnation- 11K. see NASDAQ above
1995-1999- Clinton/Gingrich bull market-  4K to 11K

DOW down 3.5%
NASDAQ down 4.3%

VIX at open was at 60...  It only reached 50 during the Pandemic crash of Mar 2020.

Good chance we see some circuit breaker action today.

DOW and NASDAQ just rocketed up....   up 2000 points (DOW) in the past 30 minutes each!!!!!!!  Both markets are @ +800 points.
