Report: Four of Every Five Illegal Aliens May Be Christians. So What?

Some people seem to have a very odd idea of what is meant by "equal treatment under the law."

Case in point: A recent report makes a big deal about four out of five illegal aliens, or as the article phrases it, "people at risk of deportation," are Christians.

As many as four in five immigrants at risk of deportation from the United States are Christian, according to a new report that calls on their fellow believers to consider the impact of the Trump administration’s aggressive deportation policies.

The report says about 10 million Christians are vulnerable to deportation and 7 million U.S. citizens who are Christian live in households where someone is at risk of deportation.

The report, under the auspices of major Catholic and evangelical organizations, draws on a range of data, including percentages of religious affiliation in various migrant and national populations and on an advocacy group’s analysis of U.S. census data on migrants.

And an equally odd idea of what actually is a Christian, I suspect.

As laid out in Megan Basham's book, "Shepherds for Sale," (Chapter 2) it's probable that these organizations are funded by leftist foundations. For example, she reported, "Evangelical Immigration Table," a group lobbying for migrant amnesty in the name of Jesus, is funded by George Soros. When they pontificate on the poor illegals, and an undiscerning news media report this as some kind of official Christian point of view, they're speaking for ol' George - not God.

As stated on the inside front cover of Basham's book, "Progressive power brokers - from George Soros to the founder of eBay to former members of the Obama administration - set out to change the American church. Secular foundations and think tanks have deliberately targeted Christian media, universities, megachurches, nonprofits and even entire denominations ... Their goal: to co-opt the church for political purposes."
