Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett asserted during a Sunday interview that Democrats’ self-critical nature allows them to run prime candidates — just eight months after the party replaced former President Joe Biden with former Vice President Kamala Harris as its presidential nominee.
 
Biden dropped out and endorsed Harris July 21 after his disastrous June debate against President Donald Trump, with the former vice president swiftly receiving sufficient support to become the Democratic nominee before officially clinching the nomination on Aug. 2.

Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) lived up to her reputation as a loose-lipped leftist congresswoman, making waves at the 2025 Human Rights Campaign (HRC) dinner by calling paralyzed Texas Gov. Greg Abbott “Governor Hot Wheels.”

Crockett began her speech by going through a list of thank yous, including thanking HRC’s Morgan Cox, stating, “I can tell you that Morgan has always been one of those people that will ask, ‘What is it that you need?'”

“You know, a lot of people see you out front fighting, but nobody’s really asking, what do you need to maintain that fight. So thank you so much, Morgan, because we in these hot-ass Texas streets, Honey –” she said.

“Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there,” she said of Gov. Abbott, who is paralyzed, generating laughter and cheers.

“Come on now. And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot-ass mess, Honey, so, um, so, yes. Yes, yes, yes. Right, ok,” she continued. “All right, I’m gonna move on. I’m gonna move on because I got other people that’s also hot in these streets. Um, all right, I gotta make sure I got through all my thank yous, because we about to go off script,” she added.

Self-critical?  The DNC discouraged Primary competition againsts incumbent Dems in 2016, 2020, and 2024 because they didn't want repeats of 1980 when Ted Kennedy's challenge to Jimmy Carter hurt the Dems in the General election.

Lack of competition and difference of opinion in the DNC is reverse-Darwinism at work.

Only in a state like Mass, which is 85%+ Dem, could useless douchebags like John Kerry, Ed Markey, and Elizabeth Warren win statewide election to the US Senate.

In 1992 and 2008, it was insurgent, outside Dem Primary candidates - Bill Clinton and Barrack Obama - who defeated DC incumbents to win the Dem nomination for President.

Liberal Dems are an endangered species surviving in isolated, extant areas.  Lack of ideological and experiential diversity will eventually lead to intellectual in-breeding and further decline.

I would think DeSantis would have the upper hand in 2028 between him and Abbott.  I like both, but I think DeSantis is more kick *ss and take names than Abbott.

But in regard to this bimbo, she is no Hillary Clinton.  I never cared for Clinton, but Crockett would never have half the population embrace her for a national position.  No way.  She is black trash from my view.
