Report: Kash Patel to Cut ‘as Many as 1,000 ATF Agents’

A report from CNN indicates FBI director Kash Patel — who is also ATF acting director — plans to cut “as many as 1,000 ATF agents” and move them to the FBI.

This will represent a cut of roughly one third of the ATF’s current agents.

How about repeal every gun control law since 1934 so we can do away with the ATF altogether?

FBI director Kash Patel circulated a memo Monday telling ATF’s workforce a CNN report on plans to cut “as many as 1,000 ATF agents” is “entirely false.”

Go back to when ATF was just 'revenuers' under treasury chasing unstamped cigarettes and moonshine. The firearms and explosives were add-ons, mainly due to the GCA of 1968. IMHO, the NFA of '34, the GCA of '68, and the FOPA of '86 should all be repealed. They infringe on the RKBA.
