Ya know this is all bullcrap, right? It takes far longer than 4 years to shift a production plant like that.

Perhaps there are existing plants that they can easily convert. Besides Trump is known to move mountains pretty darn quickly when necessary.

No. Production lines are a very specific thing - As are the supply sources and lines that feed them.

That won't be a refit campus. That will be scratch built to order. Even if the plant were standing today, moving the thing would take a long time.

And it ain't Tumpy that's gonna do it. It's Rolls Royce.

RR already has aircraft turbine engine production in the USA...and the article doesn't specifically mention what product production they are shifting to the US...they are also big in composites:
