A federal court has permanently blocked President Joe Biden's SAVE income-driven repayment plan, preventing millions of borrowers from accessing lower payments. The 8th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the plan represents an overreach of authority, upholding a preliminary injunction. Acting Under Secretary of Education James Bergeron stated that the decision is favorable for taxpayers and emphasizes the importance of adhering to the law.
