In Case You Missed It Dept.:

It looks like Zelensky won't be returning to the White House. That's how well his audition for MSNBC went.

Putin today announced he's ready to mediate peace talks between the US and Ukrainians.

The Hollywood Reporter announced the 2025 Academy Awards ceremony will air live from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on ABC. It's so politically one-sided. Every time the slavery-uprising movie wins the Best Picture Oscar, the producer never thanks the Confederacy for making it all possible.

The New York Times reports the remaining Hamas fighters in Gaza can still order in Kentucky Fried Chicken from a KFC located across the border in Egypt. The KFC delivery guy enters through a tunnel. After dinner they like to play kick the bucket to prepare themselves for the inevitable.

The Department of Education urged organizations overseeing high school and college athletics to strip medals from trans-genders who competed in women's sports. It's especially unfair in women's swimming. Transgender women have a rudder that keeps them from veering outside their swim lanes.

NBC news reports that a federal judge ruled to restore President Trump's right to offer a buyout package to federal workers who agree to quit. There are 2.3 million federal workers. Last year the U.S. Postal Service lost $10 billion, making it by far the most profitable branch of the U.S. government.

Fox News reports social media influencer Ashley St. Clair is claiming that Elon Musk fathered her five-month-old child. If true that would give the world's richest man 13 children. If nothing else Elon is doing all he can to change the demographics of our nation, one African American at a time.

President Trump arrived at the Daytona 500 race on Sunday and drove a lap in the presidential limo to cheers, and the week before, he showed up at the Super Bowl. Trump is such a crowd pleaser. He will be on hand for Major League Baseball's Opening Day to throw out an undocumented shortstop.

NPR asserted Trump is pushing the limits of presidential powers by enacting so many policies by executive orders rather than by going through Congress. His first three weeks in office he issued 49 executive orders in the Oval Office. The Resolute Desk hasn't seen this much action since Bill Clinton.

President Trump was reported to be planning to meet with Russia's Vladimir Putin this month to try to end the Ukraine War. The hounds will still be at his heels. Trump could end the war and win the Nobel Peace Prize and House Democrats would say he's out to destroy the U.S. defense industry.

Despite all the near misses on the runway, crashing into helicopters and landing upside down, the FAA wants you to know that air travel is still safer than sitting in a US classroom.

The Pope warns he may not survive pneumonia and is rushing to tie up loose ends, starting with deleting his browser history.

House and Senate Democrats took turns ripping Elon Musk and DOGE engineers for slashing government programs without congressional consultation. It's getting heartless. DOGE has begun canceling Social Security payments to the most vulnerable people in our society, those over 150 years old.

In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
More than any other time in history, mankind faces a crossroads. One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness. The other, to total extinction. Let us pray we have the wisdom to choose correctly.-Woody Allen
If God invented marathons to keep people from doing anything more stupid, the triathlon must have taken him completely by surprise.

Five things Federal workers did last week:

1. Shopped on Amazon
2. Went to meetings
3. Took a few breaks
4. Checked Facebook
5. Left early

How God must weep at humans' folly! Stand fast! God knows what he is doing!
Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
