Zelensky errors today:
1) Shows up in costume, not a suit
2) Has 0 awareness about his geopolitical standing
3) Blackmails POTUS w "Russia will be at your doorstep" talk
4) Ambassador emotes in front of press, humiliating delegation
5) No respect, demands more money
What a mess.
The outcome here will be the US ending material support to Ukraine.
The Europeans will then start arming themselves.
The EU will end up as a federal government with a federalized military (something that predicated the Brexit)
The EU will exit NATO.
The US will have to exit Europe.
Russia will attack Europe, Europe will respond in kind, and the US will be dragged into the war.
This same stupid play happened when the US sat on its collective hands in the lead up to WW2 and did nothing as Hitler was appeased and then Hitler and Stalin went to war. The result was a second generation of Americans bled and died in Europe.
NATO was formed as per the words of the first NATO Secretary General Lord Ismay to, "Keep the Russians out, the Americans in, and the Germans down."
NATO kept the peace for the best part of eighty years.
And within the next year or so it will end and so with it peace.
In other topics people are saying how the US needs to rebuild our military and in this I agree. We need to do so and we need to do so right away.
