these are the type of protest likely funded by globalists.  We need some investigative work to figure who they are and find out whether they report the protest $ they receive to the IRS.

The US offered a peace plan which was rejected and u think the USA is withdrawing?

Musk, and many other MAGA people, have openly talked about the US leaving NATO

It's like when one partner starts openly talking about leaving a marriage ... you know it's doomed, time to start making alternate plans

FreeRussia is controlled by a small group of anti-free-speech Nazis - no wonder its donations are down!!

After the election in November, I sat with President Trump at Mar-a-Largo.
President Trump had been informed that in the previous 6 week period, 125,000 people were killed in the Russia Ukraine war.
The President was visibly moved by the information as he shared those incredible numbers with me.
I saw a man who’s concern for Humanity and the loss of so much precious life in such a short period of time was palpable.
What I saw yesterday in the Oval Office with President Zelenskyy was a Ukrainian President concerned about his ego and not about the lives of his people or others.
I have been to the Ukraine border, delivering food and rosaries and seeing women, children and the elderly sent into exile while men were forced to stay and fight.

My love and respect for President Trump hit new heights yesterday as he insisted on ending this horrible war instead of prolonging it!

God bless you, President Trump and God bless us all.

If Pres. Trump really wants to end the war, then why doesn't he call for an immediate ceasefire?

Because Putin won't stop.

Putin is the only one responsible for starting, and keeping, this war going.

If the US is withdrawing from the World, what choice do we have?

Why not rely your geographic advantage and focus on your domestic issues.  Your problems are coming from Ottawa, but Putin makes a fine distraction for western politicians.  Joe Biden tried to blame him for most of the inflation.

Look at a globe. If Putin wants to attack the US, we're right in the way.

Yes, Putin is a threat to all of us. If the US doesn't want to provide a nuclear umbrella anymore, we'll have to build our own nuke forces and defend ourselves. Not really complicated, is it?

Tony Shaffer to Newsmax: Trump, Ukraine in 'Battle of Dueling Narratives' Sandy Fitzgerald    |   Sunday, 02 March 2025 10:08 AM EST

The White House and Ukraine are involved in a "battle of dueling narratives" over Ukraine's minerals deal, considering that three days before President Donald Trump's inauguration, the British signed an agreement with Ukraine that includes rights to the resources, retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer told Newsmax Sunday.

[...]

The deal Ukraine signed with the U.K. commits the two sides to cooperate on defense, economic, and technology projects, including "supporting development of a Ukrainian critical minerals strategy and necessary regulatory structures required to support the maximization of benefits from Ukraine’s natural resources."

[...]

Meanwhile, Trump has been "very clear" on the Europeans' involvement in supporting Ukraine, said Shaffer.

"The other day when Keir Starmer was in the office, he asked the prime minister, Gee, can you guys beat the Russians on your own? This is all about them finally stepping up and taking responsibility for their own backyard," Shaffer said.

Shaffer also noted that Starmer has reportedly said that the agreements have been made between Ukraine and the U.K., but "'they're not really worth anything unless the United States shows up to make it all real.'"

"They're used to us showing up and paying everything," said Shaffer. "We're not going to do that now. It's not our job, not in our interest.

"President Trump wants peace. He's got a path to peace. But that requires the Europeans essentially take upon themselves responsibility. He said he has no problem with French peacekeepers in Ukraine. He has no problem with the British with their 3,000-man army at this point. If they want to do that, fine. But it's not our job to back them up."

Yes it’s complicated.  First of all, the US will never tolerate an attack on Canada for the reason you listed.  Practically all of the population centers are close to the US, and America’s nuclear silos are located in the northern plains.

Nuclear proliferation in Canada will be discouraged.  A fool like Castreaux might just give some away for the sake of global equity.  Unlikely, but you never know.

We keep hearing (see our Ukraine 5 thread) how decimated Russia is. Is Putin stupid enough to attack North America? C'mon, man.

I’m so gutted to be honest, America is so far away from the America Reagan represented. He would be turning in his grave with trump and the Republican Party, the party of the free world and Democracy, appeasing and sucking off Putin.

Good luck America the next time you are attacked, you had friends after 9/11, I don’t think you will have friends the next time. When you want friends to back you over china, you are going to be alone.

Goodbye America, leader of the free world.

Nope...    No comparison.  Nazi German is many many multitudes more powerful than modern Russia. Russia's GDP is 11th, and dropping like a rock. Their currency is at an all time low.  One rouble equals one US penny.  They are one oil market crash away from being finished,   If you read up-thread you will find where I posted a Russia to EU comparison of forces, economics, demographics, etc.  The overwhelming advantage goes to the EU.  Putin has no chance.  And if you really parse it...  they don't need us either, and why I think leaving NATO should be on the table.

Now, if this discussion had happened say 1956-1975-ish, I would be on the opposite side of this argument.  But, there is no comparison whatsoever between Russia and the old USSR, except that they have despot rulers.  If anybody that thinks that Putin has the same cards as Stalin, they just doesn't have an understanding of geo-political matters.

Hate to keep bringing up that most of us stopped being afraid of the Boogey Man when we were about 5.  Well, the Russian Boogey Man some how haunts an unifromed faction, even here.   The real boogey men are the Chicoms.  This distraction is to our detriment.

Based on that logic, I could have told @Stevensr123 that he is a Pelosi-Schumer-Biden ally based on his support of Z, and unending aid to Ukraine

But I am in a good mood this morning.  happy77

Nazi Germany never had any nukes, satellites, nuclear submarines, or ICBMs ... Russia has 10,000 nukes
