Can you still buy life insurance at the airport?

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
The ground controller should have kept that little conflict from happening.

Good pilots on the SW jet, executed a textbook abort/go around.

That SW pilot save a few lives that day.  I need to hear the ATC convo.

The Flexjet crew didn't follow the ground controllers directions.

Also found a DEI hire in the tower.  The guy with the shitty english and heavy accent.

I keep wondering if these plane "events" aren't just s.o.p. and just haven't had media scrutiny?

I think the plane landing would be under Air Traffic Control while the the jet on the ground would have been under Ground Control.  Either way, that could had been a massive casualty event....

Tenarife sort of event, only without 500+ dead this time. Kudos to the SW crew.

Another one:  American Airlines flight aborts landing at D.C. Reagan airport to avoid collision with plane on the same runway

An commercial airliner almost crashed into a private jet that cross into its path without tower authorization at Logan Airport a while ago.

Suspend or terminate the FAA license of the captain of the private jet and fine the owner or lessee.  There need to be consequences for near fatal mistakes.

I've seen a lot of runway collisions/near misses on The Flight Channel videos at youtube. It certainly is not a recent phenomenon.
