Let's not give our enemies unneeded ammo to sway that center faction.
James Carville has given the Dems some of the best advice I have seen in a long time. Sit back, and just watch. Trump will self destruct given enough time. And he will most certainly take the Republicans down the swirl come November, 2026. With a 4 seat majority in the House, and a functional tie in the Senate(with 3 RINOs planning to vote with the Dems), it just would not take much to switch those majorities from the Republicans to the Democommies.
And when that happens, how long before Trump and Vance are removed? Trump's new book should be titled, My Chaos Management Theory in Practice. Chaos produces nothing. Yes, they are finding waste. But what did you expect? And I am happy that is all being revealed. But kicking everyone in the process is not a winning strategy for 2026. And guess what, that election is just 21 months away.
How many congressional districts are expected to be won by 10,000 votes or less? How many have high populations of federal workers who are being adversely affected by Trump? A reversal of 5,001 votes has the Dems winning. You think Trump is thinking about 2026 at all? Hell no.
I am telling you, I spent a lifetime going into for profit and government operations, reducing workforces, often using different strategies through my career. The approach Trump is using, with the added dose of very negative drama is the least successful approach long term. After one year doing that type of work, I came to the conclusion that was NOT the smart way to produce results. Sad that Musk and Trump have such limited vision. Musk goes into one company, a company he owns, whacks 80% of his own company, and he is perceived to be a genius for resource reduction.
With no regard to the actual work, forced reductions will prove to be very counter productive, angering many beyond those being reduced, and I am sorry, his mandate will become a mandate to jettison Republicans from Congress in 21 months. Certainly not what I want.
Doing it the way I would envision would have the entire federal government thoroughly analyzed in two years, produce savings beyond what they are posting, would result in no law suits, and have Congress sign off on it. This is hard to watch for me because I know better.
