I believe Toronto was hammered by winter weather yesterday/last few days.

Wonder if the snow actually helped?

Instead of sudden stopping on bare concrete - which would rip the fuselage apart easily - maybe the plane skidded a bit?

Aside from the wings gone, the body looks intact ...

Losing the wings while the body is intact seems pretty odd... Are both wings gone? They are structurally well connected to fuselage.

I watched the local TV news this evening. A story they got from one of the networks tried mightily to imply - wink, wink, nudge, nudge - Trump has fired all the air traffic controllers. Somehow, I think that's not quite true. (They weren't talking about the Toronto crash at the time, not that it would have mattered).
