I am envisioning an Orlando-type experience underground with the many miles of tunnels.

Just think - you can live in hotels setup there, have fun riding the tracks down the systems, and mazes will be over-the-top,

And it will be happening all under the feet of the populace above.

With the extra thrill that a mine could just be around the corner...

Yep, DJT relies on a lot of investment firepower that wouldn't drop a cent on that hell hole.

That is why all these vapors are a product of a well orchestrated trolling event.

Trump’s Gaza ‘Riviera’ plan is the most outlandish idea in the history of US Middle East peacemaking

CNN  —

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu couldn’t keep the smirk off his face. [...]

Israel’s far-right former national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who quit Netanyahu’s war cabinet earlier this year to protest the Gaza ceasefire deal, confirmed the synergy between Trump’s thinking and extreme conservatives in Israel.

“Donald, this looks like the beginning of a beautiful friendship,” he wrote in a post on X. .............

I think it's quite possible Israel doesn't understand where this is going  ....

I agree with your thinking as in the past  Trump has backpedaled or has offered some different explanation.

Trump is right about one thing regarding this, Gaza IS an uninhabitable plot of land. If left to their devices, any money coming in to rebuild will again, just like in the past be used to fortify tunnels, purchase weapons and plan for their next Oct 7th as Hamas said they would do.
But changing zip codes without changing their culture of hate, they learned as soon as they could walk, I don't see how  settlements in Egypt or Jordon is going to lesson the chance of continued fighting. Worth considering the possibilities though. Nothing else has worked.

Hopefully this is nothing more than a trial balloon.
Just another way for Trump to live rent free in Libtard heads 24/7.

  • Dems-greatest existential threat to USA republic!
Trump has enough problems he does not need to irritate everyone on the planet.  It was reported he pissed off the conservatives in the Congress.

His super bill, or two super bills go the way of the dodo bird?

I say see to it Gaza is flattened and stays that way for 100 years.  That makes more sense than turning it into the 2nd Riviera of the Med.

His doing this CRAZY SH*T gives the Supreme Court all the ammo they need to justify voting against anything Trump wants.  Winning friends and influencing enemies, I think not.

Here's an idea.  Reduce health related agencies like the CDC by 10%, and then a new pandemic comes along and guess who gets blamed for killing Americans, and guess who will be first to jump on board going after someone?  Get ready for the next pandemic.  I see it plain as day.

I am certain it is already made in the lab and just waiting for the nodd to release.

You are right about one thing @NavyCanDo - nothing else has worked, though I don't like the idea of a long-term U.S. involvement with U.S. boots  on the ground.  It would be a tremendous undertaking costing U.S. taxpayers trillions (of which we don't have) and likely creating added resentment from the M.E. towards the U.S.  This gives Israel security, but I'm not so sure this gives the U.S. and type of added security; likely quite the opposite.

You are right...nothing else has worked. But I am not sure this would either. I am hoping this is nothing more than a diplomacy bargaining chip to get the Arab countries to step up to the plate. "If you don't do this...we will."

From his investor's eye...I can understand. Mediterranean coast, all the buildings pretty well obliterated. Hey, he's got guys with trucks to haul off the rubble. And concrete to fill in the tunnels. Hotels and golf courses. Woo Hoo!

The down side... Aside from Isreal, it's not in a very good neighborhood. The company I worked for owned a really nice apartment complex. The neighborhood went to hell in a handbasket. One of the owners decided to buy a neighboring complex and double down thinking it would be a haven in this crummy neighborhood. The result was disastrous financially.

Besides, I don't think eminent domain will work in this situation, since nobody will accept the current owners.

So ... where will the Pali's be relocated in the meantime?  Nobody wants them. OR, will U.S. soldiers be spending a lot of time babysitting in the Gaza strip with the U.S. supporting their every need?

It's   going to take years to rebuild, certainly I would think  longer than Trump will be in office.  Then what?

Exactly. I hope he's just once again lost his verbal filter on this.
