Mexico refused to allow a plane carrying illegal migrants to land in the country on Thursday after President Trump dramatically beefed up security at the border and ordered mass raids and deportations since reclaiming the White House, according to military officials.

The deportation flight was blocked from leaving the US after two Air Force C-17 flights, each carrying about 80 deportees to Guatemala, successfully took off Thursday night, NBC reported, citing two defense officials and a third person familiar with the situation.

It was not immediately clear why Mexico blocked the plane, but tensions have flared between Trump and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum since he threatened to slap 25% tariffs on Mexican goods in response to migrants illegally crossing the border.

IMHO IF Mexico continues to refuse to take responsibility at the border, unfortunately, I foresee military action taking over Mexico.

Trump isn't messing around.

Since 99% if the illegals in our country came through the Mexico border, that's where they will be returned.

If Mexico does not like the Venezuelan thugs returned, don't let them into your own country to begin with.

This report has been debunked. Mexico didn't forbid any landings, there was just a delay on one of them.

That is correct.  Someone forgot to file the correct paperwork.

FAKE NEWS from NBC: White House Officials confirmed to me moments ago that Mexico accepted 4 illegal alien deportation flights yesterday. Mexico has also accepted tens of thousands of land returns on roadway and on foot.

I've explained in this forum several times a "solution" to this:
NYC subway-style, "one-way turnstiles" along the border wall.

Make the deportees "walk the plank" by going through the turnstile.
The statement made to each one of them:
"Go through the turnstile and be free,
or
Go to prison camp here in America for a long time".

I sense that most would choose immediate freedom.

If Mexican soldiers try to block the exit... shoot them.
Plain and simple as that.

That's three people to be added to the expedited list of government employees to be fired.

Trump's State Department Responds to NBC News Story About Mexico Denying Deportation Flight
Matt Vespa

Oh, some liberals are surely trying to take a victory lap because Mexico purportedly rejected one military flight carrying a horde of illegal aliens. And it’s NBC News again that’s guilty of spreading this odd story that essentially undercuts itself in the opening paragraphs. First, it wasn’t denied. The flight proceeded as planned, but there was an administrative hiccup that was quickly resolved. It’s all here (via NBC News):

Mexico denied a U.S. military plane access to land Thursday, at least temporarily frustrating the Trump administration's plans to deport immigrants to the country, according to two U.S. defense officials and a third person familiar with the situation.

Two Guatemala-bound Air Force C-17s, carrying about 80 people apiece, flew deportees out of the U.S. Thursday night, the sources said. The third flight, slotted for Mexico, never took off.

It was not immediately clear why Mexico blocked the flight, but tensions between the U.S. and Mexico, neighbors and longtime allies, have risen since President Donald Trump won the November election. Trump has threatened to slap 25% across-the-board tariffs on Mexico in retaliation for migrants crossing the border the countries share. But he has not yet put them in effect.

A White House official said in a text message that “the flights thing was an administrative issue and was quickly rectified.”

After the publication of this article, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt tweeted, "Yesterday, Mexico accepted a record 4 deportation flights in 1 day!"

A White House official, however, did not clarify whether they were military, commercial or private flights.

As if that makes a difference—these people are getting the boot, and there’s nothing the liberal media can do to stop it. State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce went further, calling the NBC News story fake news:

The report about Mexico was false, but now Colombia gets in on the act:

Maybe we should just issue parachutes to all the illegals as they board the planes to take them back to their homelands. If their president won't let the plane land, then open the hatches and say adios, vaya con Dios (y buena suerte).

Take a look at how Trump responded to that: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-strikes-back-retaliatory-measures-against-colombia-rejecting-deportation-flights

That'll leave a mark...

Well, that was quick.

Colombia caves to Trump - will take the illegal migrants back.  After Trump threatens tariffs and other sanctions.

Speaker Mike Johnson
@SpeakerJohnson
Colombia and all nations should be on notice - Congress is fully prepared to pass sanctions and other measures against those that do not fully cooperate or follow through on requirements to accept their citizens who are illegally in the United States.

President Trump is putting America first, just like he said he would. And Congress will implement policies that reinforce his agenda.

For those unaware, the president of Colombia is a literal crossdressing Marxist terrorist whose revolutionary group killed hundreds of Colombians. America should not and will not be bossed around by the terrorist president of a foreign country.
