A pardon in law is a government decision that forgives a person for a crime, relieving them of some or all legal consequences of their conviction. It is often granted by a head of state, such as a president or governor, and does not erase the fact of the conviction but can help restore the individual's rights.
Legal immunity, or immunity from prosecution, is a legal status wherein an individual or entity cannot be held liable for a violation of the law, in order to facilitate societal aims that outweigh the value of imposing liability in such cases.
I still cannot understand the idea of Biden granting a "pardon" to individuals who are not under investigation for anything, are not charged with anything, and have never been convicted of anything. A pardon for what? A Biden pardon is nothing more than a Hasbro 'Get Out of Jail Free' card, with the same weight and authority.
The idea of Biden wandering around D.C. like the Pope, granting his friends divine absolution (all your sins are forgiven, including the sins no one knows about) is absurd. THESE ARE NOT PARDONS! They are absolutions or 'immunity'. A pardon is for a conviction.
These so-called 'preemptive pardons' will be challenged. The challenge should at least force the higher courts to coin a word for and to define legally whatever this nonsense is, because it is not a 'pardon' by any definition. There is no way they can get away with this subversion of the entire American Judicial System. It is past time for this bullshit to get resolved once and for all. These people are obviously GULITY AS HELL. Otherwise, Biden would not have so-called 'pardoned' them. Biden picked the people he knows are guilty to protect them from justice.
Trump has the best legal people in the country. If anyone can figure this nonsense out, I am sure they can and will. The pardon issue will be an annoyance, but I do not believe it will protect these people from their obvious and copious crimes. And, I am not sure that any pardon from anybody will protect the proud traitor Milley (who bragged about it) from the UCMJ.
Also, there is the issue of Biden's mental condition. Is Biden legally of 'sound mind and body' to issue any kind of legal declaration. Biden is so obviously mentally impaired there is no real way to know who initiated the pardons, or if Biden actually knew what he was doing when he supposedly signed them. Even though this has been expected for month, even so, it still stinks to high heaven.
