MSNBC analyst: Biden’s handling of the border was “not his finest moment”
01/07/2025 // Laura Harris // 870 Views

Steve Rattner, a former official of the ex-President Barack Obama's administration, admitted that outgoing President Joe Biden's handling of immigration policies was "not Biden's finest moment."

Rattner cited a chart from a New York Times op-ed showing a sharp increase in border crossings after Biden took office, reaching nearly 300,000 a month at its peak.

He acknowledged President-elect Donald Trump's claim of low border crossings during his tenure, noting that crossings were about 74,000 a month when Trump left office.

Rattner attributed the surge in migrant crossings to Biden's policies, including a moratorium on deportations.

He noted an improvement in the situation, with current border crossings running at about 100,000 a month, similar to levels during the Trump administration.

MSNBC is still out front trying to protect Biden I see. ****sheep****

Be that as it may, it is pretty bold to say Biden had anything to do with the immigration debacle other than being the front man and paper signer. 999yawn
