An Ohio father’s swift action protected his family and highlighted the power of the Second Amendment when his daughter’s ex-boyfriend attempted to force his way into their home.
Surveillance footage released by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office captured the intense confrontation. James Rayl, 22, repeatedly banged on the door of the Sidney, Ohio, home while ignoring voices inside telling him to leave. The father, armed and ready to defend his family, warned Rayl that he had a gun. Despite the warning, Rayl began forcing the door open with his shoulder.
This father not only saved his daughter, he saved the daughters of others.
So tired of the ‘emotional distress’ excuse to justify people's actions. He didn’t look like he was in distress. And it appears that he broke through the door before he was shot.
