The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has led to several firsts in the ongoing year, and one of them is the rising fear of tactical nuclear weapons being used.
This time it is not just Ukraine which is apprehensive of Kremlin’s tactical nuclear weapons stock, but also the other NATO countries which are close to Russia.
In the past months, President Vladimir Putin has brought about a change in Russian nuclear doctrine, and had even ordered his troops to carry out military drills with tactical nuclear weapons.
