Elon Musk: Alexander Vindman ‘Committed Treason,’ Will ‘Pay the Appropriate Penalty’

Alana Mastrangelo 27 Nov 2024

Elon Musk said retired Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman “has committed treason against the United States” by being “on the payroll of Ukrainian oligarchs,” and will “pay the appropriate penalty.” Musk’s comments came in response to Vindman accusing him of conspiring with Russian president Vladimir Putin.

“Vindman is on the payroll of Ukrainian oligarchs and has committed treason against the United States, for which he will pay the appropriate penalty,” Musk said in a Wednesday X post.

Musk was reacting to a post by another X account that shared a video of Vindman accusing the Tesla CEO of having ties with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and claiming Musk only supported President-elect Donald Trump in the 2024 election because Putin told him to.

“We are under attack,” Vindman said in the video. “Russia has been using different levers, whether that’s corruption networks — in this case, it’s influencers like Donald Trump, like Elon Musk, to really, kind of, sow discord.”

“It’s particularly troubling with Elon Musk in this case, because Elon Musk has access to State secrets. He has top secret security clearance. It’s possible that some of that is seeping through,” Vindman continued.

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
Fifty one people with high clearences, either current or past, signed a letter saying Hunter's laptop and all said about it was 'just Russian Disinformation'.

More of the same BS, from more people with clearances and information they can either themselves leak to Russia (like maybe as a 'pot sweetener' in the Uranium One deal?), and then blame the GOP and Trump. Maybe its just because they are beholden to China.

You know Joe Biden didn't accumulate a semi load of classified material to just fill boxes.

For these people it's all about power,--keeping it and getting more, not national security.

We know you don't want Elon to have access, but he's the most successful part of the US space program right now. His capability makes those who can only wish they could get things done 'hold their manhoods cheap', and they will use every tool at their disposal to try to discredit him. Vindman is just another tool, in more ways than one.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Vindman should be recalled to active duty, court martialed, dishonorably discharged, and if we find out he betrayed the US for Ukraine (or another foreign actor), prosecuted and sentenced appropriately.
