Excerpt:
In a bold move that signals his no-nonsense approach to draining the swamp, President-elect Donald J. Trump is throwing down the gauntlet with the FBI. After years of targeted attacks from the Justice Department—culminating in a federal raid on his home—Trump is no longer playing their game. The FBI has made it clear that they’re willing to go to any lengths to derail his candidacy, but Trump has the upper hand now. He’s won the election, and he’s not taking any more orders from the establishment.

Trump isn’t buying into the FBI’s games, nor should he
I’ll support anything that makes the FBI miserable, frustrated, and appear small. They’ve earned it.

Trump Gives a Massive Middle Finger to the FBI

President-elect Donald J. Trump isn’t buying into the FBI’s games, nor should he. The Justice Department has targeted the man and has gone multiple rounds with its lawyers, including a federal raid on his home—all of which was to derail his 2024 candidacy. But he won the election.

He’s in charge, and I hope he takes a baseball bat to the J. Edgar Hoover Building. And yes, no appointee should subject themselves to an FBI background check for security clearances until he’s sworn in and gets his people to run the show. The Biden DOJ cannot be trusted. In a massive middle finger to the bureau, Trump will give every appointee a security clearance until the FBI is reined in and the process of cleaning house begins (via The Guardian):

Donald Trump’s transition team is planning for all political appointees to receive sweeping security clearances on the first day and only face FBI background checks after the incoming administration takes over the bureau and its own officials are installed in key positions, according to people familiar with the matter.

I wonder who, in the Biden administration, will be the whistleblower that opens the floodgates of criminal prosecution? :pondering:

  • Dems-greatest existential threat to USA republic!
He has to take more than a bat to the FBI and all the intelligence agencies.  The compelling question is will he live through it?  They will come gunning for him, literally.

I say a complete restructure is necessary.  Eliminate everyone above first line supervision in the FBI and fold it into Homeland.  Break Homeland down some by moving FEMA to the Dept of the Interior, move the Secret Service to its own independent structure, and have all these agencies go through the DOGE review, reducing the numbers by 50%.  The intelligence agencies are the most sacred of the sacred cows that exist in government.  I don't want to hear they need bigger budgets.  50% minimum should be the goal with all intelligence agencies in terms of resource reduction.  Once done, those that remain will be more productive than what is there now.

Same for the DOJ.  I do not want to hear they need 110,000 folks.  The DOJ should be whacked by 70%.  What could all these people be doing?  Reading a ton of novels I will tell you!!!

Indeed and I think he knows it. There are very few that he can truly trust.
Live in  harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

Trump doesn't trust the FBI that lied in FISA court to get a warrant to spy on a campaign worker's electronic communications, entrapped former General Flynn, staffed the Trump-Russia Collusion Delusion shamvestigation with Trump-Haters, drew out that shamvestigation for two years, and busted into MaL with permission to shoot people, rifled through Melania's lingerie drawer, and mishandled "evidence" to produce PR pictures?

Trump doesn't trust THAT FBI? What a shocking non-surprise.
