There is a lot of anger among the leftists in the wake of the re-election of Donald Trump. Many of them are so afflicted with TDS that their anger often seems to bleed into blind rage. So what to do? Well, The Atlantic magazine has not the cure but what they claim is the prescription. Namely they suggest reading from a recommended book list. The problem is that their book suggestions seem to be like pouring high octane fuel on the TDS fire.

Ruth Madievsky made her book suggestions on Wednesday in "What to Read If You’re Angry About the Election." The subtitle is "These seven books aren’t a cure for rage and despair. Think of them instead as a prescription." As you will see her book suggestions seem more like rubbing salt in a wound rather than a prescription.

Mosh pits are great outlets for TDS rage, or any rage for that matter.

"Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it’s entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end." - Alan Simpson, Frontline Video Interview

Republicans have control of everything.  Let's see if they get anything done in the next two years.  I doubt it will be much.  Everything Trump will end up doing will be via Executive Orders.  The problem rests with the Senate, where it requires a 60% vote to pass anything.  Without a voting majority, just about nothing gets done.

The effort by Musk and Vivek will be good for the USA, getting rid of some of the bureaucracy, and that is if the courts don't get in the way.

Another "Atlantic" slagazine writer has claimed that Trump's cabinet is anti-Semitic ... despite two cabinet picks, so far, being Jewish.
I am not and never have been a leftist.

If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

jafo observes:
"The problem rests with the Senate, where it requires a 60% vote to pass anything.  Without a voting majority, just about nothing gets done."

You're correct in your assessment.
But... there's an easy way to fix this.

The DCommunists would probably have done it, had they the opportunity.
Turnabout is fair play.

The issue is not the issue, the issue is the Revolution.
The Republic is lost.

I would almost welcome the liberal lunatics waging a revolution.  Nothing would be better for this REPUBLIC than to purge the worst of them while they fight for destroying the nation further.

We don't need a revolution because we have something called "voting". Try winning an election before violent revolution.

Yes we are now at the point where the Supermajority cloture rule hamstrings us rather than protects us. Happened in 2017/2018 and back in the early 2000's too.

I've never been a fan of it but without it we'd probably have full on socialized medicine and the green new deal.  Eventually, in the next century, it will fall IMO. Possibly in our lifetimes.

The election was won.  But I am responding to what was referenced above, with the liberals proposing the armed interference with the federal government removing illegal invading aliens from our nation.  If they stand in the way, I suspect they will be arrested.  If they fire on federal officers, what would you call that exactly?

You think Trump will stand by and let this moron of a mayor use force to stop the federal government?  Really?

My statement wasn't directed at you, but just anyone who would try violent revolution in this country.
