Rick Scott Garners Endorsements From Trump Allies in GOP Senate Leadership Race

Florida Sen. Rick Scott’s campaign to be the next Senate Majority Leader is surging with a blizzard of endorsements from colleagues who normally keep silent about who they will support for the position until the secret ballots are cast.

Scott, Sen. John Cornyn of Texas, and Sen. John Thune of South Dakota are competing to succeed Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the longest-serving Republican Senate leader of modern times, having filled the position since 2007 in Senates controlled by both parties.

Scott challenged McConnell for the position two years ago, but garnered only 11 votes. Cornyn was McConnell’s deputy during President Donald Trump’s first term in the White House. Thune was McConnell’s deputy during President Joe Biden’s tenure in the Oval Office.

I have a little background on this matter.

Rick Scott(R) was my governor. He just won reelection over Debbie Mucarsel-Powell(D). She was my US congressman and we got rid of her and got Carlos A. Giménez(R)the RINO.

My US congressman has gone from Carlos Luis Curbelo(R) rino to Debbie Mucarsel-Powell(D) to the current Carlos A. Giménez(R)the RINO. We are looking for the correct person but have not found them as of this time.

Debbie Mucarsel-Powell was right about one thing in her campaign, Rick Scott needs to be replaced, the problem was Debbie Mucarsel-Powell was not even close to being the correct person to replace Scott.

I have had conversations with all of the offices of these people over the years that I have listed. I would not vote for anyone of these people, the problem a week ago(Nov 5th) was our choice was bad Rick Scott or worse Debbie Mucarsel-Powell. We did not have a good choice "again".

Rick Scott was not a good Governor, is not a good Senator and will not be a good Senate Majority Leader(my opinion).

I'm not the biggest Rick Scott fan, but Thune and Cornyn should have zero shot given their past record and being Cocaine Mitch cronies.
