San Jose State Spartans women’s volleyball player Brooke Slusser reacted to the suspension of her assistant coach who spoke out against the team’s transgender player Blaire Fleming.

The team’s associate head volleyball coach, Melissa Batie-Smoose, was suspended indefinitely. The move came days after she filed a Title IX complaint against the school, alleging Fleming conspired with an opponent to help the team lose a match and attempt to injure Slusser.

"My assistant coach spoke truth to protect my team. Then… they (suspend) her. They took away the only safe space we had in the program. Because she knew that it was right to stand up for the 18 women on the team. Not one man," Slusser wrote on X.

1. SJ State is defending a person who conspired to injure an athlete? An athlete on his own team?

2. How is this suspension not illegal retaliation against a whistleblower? A gross violation of Federal and state law?

This nonsense must end.  Bottomline, we are largely born XX or XY.  There are exceptions, but they are a microscopic number.  Whatever one is born as, that is the field you play on.  PERIOD. 

And the notion of having trans folks that still have their original equipment dress in their chosen gender locker room, how much more insane do we have to become as a society?  Pure insanity!!!

And the embrace by the Democommies for this bullsh*t is just further proof of their desire to destroy this nation.

Having males competing against females in sports is ludicrous.  I applaud any rational person that takes a stand on this Democommie made issue of destroying female sports.  A trans male will never be a female, no matter what they do to create the illusion of being female.  Every cell in their body will be XY, XY, XY, XY!!!!!!!!!!

San Jose State volleyball player Brooke Slusser, along with SJSU associate head coach Melissa Batie-Smoose, and 10 other college athletes have filed a lawsuit against the school and the Mountain West Conference, the NCAA Division I conference in which the school plays.The women claim that their Title IX rights have been violated by SJSU allowing a transgender athlete on the volleyball team.

"Among the allegations in the lawsuit are that SJSU coach Todd Kress gave the player in question preferential treatment, that the Mountain West amended its transgender athlete participation policy without following conference protocol and that the conference fostered an unsafe environment by allowing the athlete to play," according to ESPN.

Fox News reported that several female athletes were overlooked for scholarships because of the transgender player's "physical dominance." The lawsuit documents also suggest that Slusser felt her personal safety was in danger when the transgender athlete and another player got together and put a plan in place to have the ball spiked right at her head in a match with Colorado State.

Upon hearing about the plan, Batie-Smoose attempted to stand up for the girls on the team by talking to Kress and filing a Title IX complaint, but she was suspended from the program. "They took away the only safe space we had," Slusser said of losing her coach. She also accused the school of silencing people who were just trying to stand up for what's right.

Women's sports are safe spaces for women - those born with two X chromosomes.  Title IX was significant in establishing school sports are a safe space for women athletes.

Trans volleyball player Blaire Fleming's school suffers mass exodus after gender controversy disrupted season

San Jose State's women's volleyball team has been rocked by a mass exodus of players at the end of a season marred by the controversy surrounding trans player Blaire Fleming.

Multiple opponents refused to play against SJSU in the 2024 season amid concerns over Fleming, who is a biological male, which allowed the Spartans to progress to the postseason with a 12-6 conference record after picking up seven victories by forfeit.

And in light of the controversy over their trans teammate, the San Francisco Chronicle (via Fox News) is reporting that seven Spartans players have now entered the transfer portal.

The team is preparing itself for a mass exodus despite Fleming being out of eligibility after completing a fourth collegiate season in 2024.

The article isn't very informative beyond what I quoted. Apparently, there are issues for the women bailing on the team beyond "just" there's a guy playing on our women's team. My guess is that the coaching staff remaining after the head coach got fired are more interested in supporting the socio-political symbol than with actually building up the team and every player (which is their jobs).
