I was not sure, where to put this story. I was surprised that someone had not already put it up, but it's up now. I hope that it is alright in this section.

Sorry, I did a search for Peanut and all I got was peanut butter posts. I wasn't trying to step on you post.

I know @rmc51 and I'm certainly not trying to step on yours. The search feature here is a tad bit lacking.

There are many in government who are literally out of their minds.  Taking a family pet that has lived twice as long as they do in the wild is criminal in my mind.

I saw this today, have not heard of Peanut and Fred, but if they help Trump win, that would be great.  Particularly the warped morons of New York!!!

The Assassination of 'Peanut the Squirrel'

Did state officials execute a squirrel? That appears to be the case for this New York couple whose story set social media ablaze. It’s a classic tale of government overreach. It’s overkill—literally. The squirrel was a social media sensation, having been rescued by Mark Longo of Pine City, New York, several years ago. For some reason, the Department of Environmental Conservation thought ‘Peanut’ and another of Longo’s critters, Fred, the raccoon, were illegally owned. The length at which the state secured search warrants for the Longo home is tragically absurd. ...

The fascists of New York did not have to kill these two animals.  They could have kept them in isolation to see if they developed rabies.  The UGLY TRUTH is that they MURDERED these innocent animals solely because they were used to promote the candidacy of Donald Trump is a totally corrupt state run by the Democommie Party.

This family in my humble opinion has the right to sue whoever took and destroyed the animals for their loss.

But then again, if these evil cretins will fight, and stand applauding their ability to murder human babies right up to the moment of birth, as they did in New York, then no living creature of God's creation is protected from the evil that reigns in New York.

My first job out of college was with the state Dept. of Health, and I remember that  there have been zero recordable rabies infections from Squirrels

Watching THE FIVE on Fox News, their next segment coming up is about Peanut , the squirrel.  So, it is making national news, as it should.

The Democommies are murderous b*st*rds!!!  New Yorkers kill human babies, just about dancing in the aisles over it.   What is a squirrel or raccoon?

Believe me when i tell you this - You don't hate them nearly enough as you should
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.

I wish I could show you but I can't so I'll just say that all those buttons and drop down menus at top of a posting window have functions that will greatly aid you in posting here once you learn how to use them.

Learning to use them is a little time consuming but very rewarding in the end.

Play around with them and hit the preview button as many times as it takes to see what you wrote will look like when you finally hit the post button. @rmc51

Why does the Peanut the Squirrel story matter? It demonstrates the reality of government. Petty bureaucrats can, at a whim, terrorize people. Was there due process and warrants?

Jack-booted Government thugs trespassing on private property to seize private property without process and proper warrants is never good.

Today the Environmental Gaestapo comes for your squirrel; tomorrow the Global Climate Change Storm Troopers come for your methane-spewing Golden Retriever puppy.

"You gonna die for some chickens?"

"Someone is."
