Seniors Worried About Rising Costs of Illegal Immigration Told to Suck It Up by Their Mayor

In what has to be one of this year’s most outrageous examples of disregard for American citizens in favor of illegal aliens, one callous Maine politician revealed his bombshell “solution” for older homeowners concerned about the burdens of rising property taxes. The city of South Portland has been steadily increasing taxes on local homeowners, due in part to massive city spending on migrants. During a recent City Council meeting, Mayor Misha Pride advised residents, “It’s kind of a last resort measure, but seeing as our property values are so high, seniors may want to consider a reverse mortgage.”
A reverse mortgage is a type of loan in which a homeowner relinquishes equity in their home in exchange for regular payments, typically to supplement retirement income. It is often a last resort for seniors to cover rising and unexpected costs.
Not surprisingly, Mayor Pride’s comment was not well received and sparked massive outrage on social media. Understandable, given that local residents are reeling from the adverse impact of three events occurring simultaneously.
