What They Saw In His Apartment Will HAUNT You

Oct 10, 2024On an evening in March of 2007, a volunteer firefighter responded to a call at an apartment complex in Harris County, Texas. Several residents had phoned 911, saying that they were worried because they had seen smoke coming from one of their neighbour’s units.
After arriving at the apartment, the firefighter, along with a police deputy were let in by the man that lived there. The man said that he wasn’t in any danger. He had been in the middle of making dinner on his patio, and he was pretty sure this was what the callers had seen.
This whole situation was chalked up to a simple misunderstanding, until about a week later. That’s when some new information would COMPLETELY change the context of everything that the firefighter and deputy had witnessed that day. By far the worst part though, would be when they learned what they had REALLY seen in that room on their way out.
