An expedited law suit for force the opposite directive to be issued and rigorously enforced is in order.  The only way a non-citizen ID should have any role in voter verification would be if it is accompanied by paperwork showing the same person was recently naturalized and is, in fact, a US citizen.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.
